The Three Feathers, Abridged

I have created an abridged version of The Three Feathers for educational outreach. This new version is about 45 minutes long - and scored for 7 singers and piano.

It will debut in February 2016 in the Tallahassee, FL elementary schools under the direction of Grant Preisser. Grant is studying Opera Directing at Florida State University, and these performances are under their auspices. Thanks to my librettist, Dana Gioia, and to my original director, Beth Greenberg, for helping me to trim and reimagine the opera.

If you are interested in performing the work, please contact me and I will be happy to send a perusal score.
