On Sunday, April 6, 2014, WNO’s Young Artists will present the DC premiere of “The Prison Scene” from Lori’s opera The Scarlet Letter. The performance will take place at the McEvoy Auditorium of The Smithsonian’s American Art Museum, 8th and F Streets, NW, in Washington, DC, with soprano Shantelle Przybylo, baritone Christian Bowers and collaborative pianist Tomoko Nakayama. Also featured on the program are excerpts from Derrick Wang’s Scalia/Ginsburg.
